Mammon was just a demon, a moderately powerful one but a demon. Taking his soul could have any number of implications but godhood is probably not one of them. Now Hades… that might be a different matter.
I hope that was just his power Kev absorbed, theres no way he has the ability to supress Mammons influence if it was his soul, assuming soul includes consciousness (sp?)
