def play the first 2 first the games carry over of course and make immersion incredibly good, as for the ending of the 3rd 1 i am sad that EA gotten $$ in there eyes and said RUSH IT OUT NOW, damn evil empire
I suppose that’s one advantage to not having much time for gaming these days… I rarely buy “new” games anymore, so by the time I pick something up it’s like $5 in a Steam sale (or in the case of “Red Faction: Armageddon” I got it from Amazon using a gift certificate ) so even if a game is rushed to the point of crap then I’m only out a few bucks on it.
We usually buy games used as well, and unfortunately we got this game used- which meant no multiplayer code so in order to become “fully ready” for the final war-> best endings -> we had to buy the $10 mulitplayer pack then to realize we do not have xbox live anymore-> more money (but we got around it by searching through our pile of games to find a 48 hour free code. So after allll the work of playing the used game and putting in time for the best ending (and carrying over our characters form the previous games) It was very disappointing.
I LOVE the Mass Effect characters (in fact we were thinking naming our baby girl (due in december) Olivia Garrus XD) So the ending was also disappointing cause you really don’t find out much about your characters, or where they are. They especially didn’t take any effort to program if hey, these were the characters you chose to fight the last battle with and now they are on the Normandy going through a Mass Effect (WHICH ALSO SUCKS BECAUSE WHY THE HELL ARE THEY GOING THROUGH A MASS EFFECT DURING THE WAR IN WHICH THEY WERE FIGHTING)
very bizarre.
So to back it up some more, companies are making it more annoying to buy used. but I will still probably buy used anyway. (#fuckdapolice)
Love the idea, tried to convince the missus we wanted to call our girl Thermopili as a ploy to get away with Jaina (Proudmoore) but she was having none of it.
I would have it easier if I were to name my child after a Mass Effect character – Jack
And I agree, I never figured out how they managed to get the crew from the surface of the Earth into their ship in the battle around Earth all the way to the mass relay.
One of these days I’ll likely get around to getting Mass Effect 3… though I guess I should probably play the first two first.

I never did the multiplayer though.
